It has been brought to the attention of TATOC that a company called Resort Key is cold calling owners stating that they are booking agents for Silverpoint and offering discounted holidays.

We have checked with the Silverpoint team and they have confirmed that this is not the case and no agremeent between the two companies exists.

Further research on this company has found that they have also been cold calling with accommodation offers, claiming to be working for RCI selling surplus space. Again no agreement exists between these two companies.

It has been brought to the attention of TATOC and the TATOC Consumer Helpline that a company called Legal Accounting Services is contacting timeshare owners requesting payment for maintenance fees.

However, it has been confirmed that there is no agreement between the company and the resort who has reported this to us.

The Helpline team is undertaking further investigations but advise anyone who is contacted by this company to proceed with caution and to contact their resort or management company.

It has been brought to the attention of TATOC that Silverpoint owners are being targeted by 'legal firm' Olton Alexander with a bogus class action.

TATOC urges all Silverpoint members to act with extreme caution if they are contacted by representatives of this company.

Paperwork seen by the TATOC Consumer Helpline team looks very professional and convincing and the Association is concerned that some owners will fall for the scam.

It has been brought to the attention of TATOC that a company called Palm Travel Solutions is telling Langdale owners that they are working with the Lake District resort to sell weeks.

TATOC has spoken to Langdale and can confirm that this is not the case. Palm Travel Solutions does not have an agreement with Langdale to either sell weeks directly for the resort or on behalf of Langdale members. TATOC urges all Langdale members to proceed with caution.
