Club La Costa team ‘nose’ for leading UK charity and raise over €100.

Members of Club La Costa’s telemarketing team in Spain could have been accused of ‘sleeping on the job’ recently, when they donned pyjamas as part of their money raising efforts for the UK’s Red Nose Day.

But far from sleepy, the team were busy ‘doing something funny for money’, in accord with the charity’s slogan, and raised just over €100 toward their £2,500+ target.

The company pledged to add £5 to the fund for every couple who booked a holiday with them - having being referred as either family or friends of existing members, in the run up to, and including, Red Nose Day on March 18th.

Club La Costa employees raised £2,500 in 2007 for the charity, which helps transform lives and fund projects for disadvantaged people and communities in the UK and in Africa, where it gives those living in poverty a better chance of life.

“My team really wanted to get involved with this one as it is fun, but at the same time benefitting a very good cause. Members are always very supportive and Club La Costa was extremely happy to help and make it all worthwhile,” said marketing manager Helen Smith.
