TATOC launched its "happy holidays" campaign in November 2010 with the aim of telling the good news about timeshare. Over seven million families own timeshare around the world and we want to hear how good their holidays have been been. We know that the media are not too interested in these stories so TATOC will publish them here for the world to read.

Marriott Playa Andaluza - superb costa resort

We booked a 2-bedroom apartment at the Marriott Playa Andaluza, near Estepona on the Costa del Sol, as an Interval International Getaway break.

This is a superb resort, situated between Marbella and Estepona, with direct access to a reasonably good sandy beach. We flew from Edinburgh to Malaga with Ryanair and hired a car through Autoeurope for 11 days.

The resort consists of five four-storey buildings containing hotel-type rooms and 2 and 3-bedroom apartments. Some of the 3-bedroom apartments consist of an adjoining 2-bedroom apartment plus hotel room.

We have just returned from a lovely week in Malta.

Our Air Malta flight arrived at 12.30am on Sunday morning. We had pre-booked a minibus service from http://maltatransfer.com/. This only costs 14 Euros return fare and is recommended by frequent visitors to Malta as the cheapest transfer service. Our driver was due to leave at 2.00am but as all his passengers had already arrived he was able to leave an hour early, which was very welcome.

Sunset View Club - Lazy and restful

This report is compiled after staying at Sunset View for 4 weeks in Oct/Nov 2010. It was our second visit to the resort this year as we also spent 5 weeks in Mar/Apr and as expected the facilities remain excellent.

The staff in particular are all very friendly and are only too happy to please. Partial refurbishment is continuing with an ongoing programme to install air conditioning, new windows and doors (as required) and general interior decor changes.
