TATOC is keen to give full recognition to resorts that are truly customer-driven in their approach to timeshare ownership and are willing to commit to all requirements of the TATOC Code of Conduct as a minimum standard. After detailed planning and discussion with industry experts, TATOC launched its Resort Accreditation Programme in 2009.
The award of TATOC Accreditation means the resort has successfully passed a thorough and comprehensive inspection by TATOC, and received Accreditation as a resort delivering:
TATOC believes it is essential for the award to be seen as hard-earned and meaningful, and the Accreditation process is rigorous and robust. Accreditation is only awarded for a three year period and is subject to review and withdrawal if necessary.
For a resort to be able to say it has been awarded the coveted 'TATOC Accredited Resort' status by TATOC – the largest, independent, timeshare consumer-representative body in Europe, is a powerful and positive statement of quality and standards that will have a major beneficial impact to both the resort and it's individual owners.
