TATOC has been forwarded this information by a timeshare owner who would like to bring to the attention of owners and guests staying in the area of Sunset Bay the activities of the EZE Group.

This company is purporting to buy back timeshare weeks and issue Points in return. These Points can be used to book cheap flights and holidays with no more maintenance fees to pay. During the presentation, the company makes much of the fact that there is no 14 day cooling off period as the product is not timeshare. The company claims legitimacy by association with various well know holiday, airline and cruise companies and has their logos printed on legal documentation. A member of staff wears a pilot's uniform and the company's name gives an association with the Easy Group. However, after closer inspection, credit card transactions go through to a recipient registered as a car hire company.

While TATOC is unable to comment on the legitimacy of this operation at this time, it does want to make owners and guests aware of the persistent OPC activity currently taking place and suggests vigilance in any dealings with the organisation.
