It has been bought to the attention of TATOC that a company called Resorts Direct is making unsolicited telephone calls to timeshare owners. This is the second consumer alert regarding this company.
The telemarketer states they are calling from Beverly Hills Club head office and that due to the amount of maintenance charges paid over the years, the owner has qualified for a loyalty bonus called VIP Red Weeks.
This is not true. Beverly Hills Club has no connection with Resorts Direct and there is no such offer available. Resorts Direct are using the Beverly Hills Club name to further their commercial interests.
TATOC and Beverly Hills Club urge all timeshare owners to be extremely cautious if contacted by Resorts Direct.
