Pantglas Hall was built in a secluded dell in Carmarthenshire in the mid 19th Century. It was once one of the largest country estates in South Wales. After being destroyed by fire, it was demolished to leave a tower which is still part of the beautiful 42-acre resort. The present house was built in 1835, on or near the site of a much earlier building which dated back to medieval times.
Pantglas Hall is perfectly situated as a base to explore much of the locality and other parts of Wales with its wonderful history, scenery and market towns. The capital city of Cardiff is a little over an hour away and the ancient Roman county town of Carmarthen with its busy shopping centres is close by. The National Botanical Gardens of Wales are also nearby.
The lodges at Pantglas Hall are Scandinavian style using natural materials and cater for between two and eight people
